Organization - How I Organize My Scarves

Scarf weather is slowly approaching in my city so it was time to take these babies out. I used to have them on hangers in my closet but I love having them all on display much better. Not only is it easier to see what I have but I'm less likely to neglect them if I can see them everyday. 

Nail Polish Organization

I've been really into acrylic organizers lately. I find  most of them either for the Container store or Amazon. I feel they are versatile and still very pretty to look at :)

I'd been searching for something to organize my nail polishes for a few months now. They went from being in a drawer to being in a glass bowl. I actually didn't mind the way they looked in the glass bowl but it was easy for a lot of polishes to get neglected because I couldn't see them all the time so I would forget they existed. "Out of sight, out of mind."

I wanted something that could sit on a shelf and not have to be permanently hung on the wall. My nail polish collection is not too large so I was searching for something that was a bit more compact so it didn't take up too much space on my vanity.

Makeup Organization

Hello loves! There are two things that I absolutely love doing, 1. Playing with makeup 2. Organizing

and I was able to do both this week! 

Over the weekend the house was a complete disaster because we had new floors installed in all of the carpeted areas (my makeup room was one of them). The floors turned out beautiful (incase you were wondering :)

Since everything had to be taken out of my makeup room it was the perfect opportunity to do some reorganizing. I started with my vanity - everything else is still a disaster lol. 

So here she is!

Organizing Without A Medicine Cabinet

I'll start off by sharing that I am not much of a practical person. I'm totally ok with having a beautiful chair that no one can sit on because... well, because it's just too beautiful and I don't want it to get dirty! The hubby on the other hand, would NOT be ok with that - the chair better be comfortable, affordable and last forever. 

It's funny how our world gets turned upside down, sideways, whatever you want to call it, when we fall in love. All of the sudden compromising becomes your best friend because you realize that the other person's happiness makes you happy... plus you can't always have it your way. Ok, now I'm just going off  on a tangent (I have a tendency to do that). Lets get to the point:

As I shared earlier, we purchased a home a year ago and are still in the process of making it a "home" One of the things that really bugged us from the beginning is the lack of medicine cabinets in both bathrooms. "Just buy some medicine cabinets and install them, Liz!" Is what you are probably thinking, right? Well, there is not enough room to put a medicine cabinet either! It's like the builder doesn't believe in hygiene products or in my case face care products. Where am I supposed to put all of my face creams and toner and face wash and things a girl needs to survive in this world?!?
